Sod Picked up or Delivered
- Palletized or Big Rolls
- Big Rolls: Due to the request of our customers we now offer sod cut into "Big Rolls" as an option. The sod is one continuous piece that is 24" wide by 125' long. The "Big Rolls" are wrapped with netting for handling without damaging the sod. This method works great in open areas such as athletic fields. This will save alot of labor during installation
- We also have installers available for rent. These installers are necessary for laying the "Big Rolls". The intent of the "Big Rolls" is to eliminate the need for all the labor required to lay the sod. You will also have fewer cuts in each continuous run. The installer weights about 970 lbs and can be returned on a trailer. It has an 11 hp gasoline engine and is hydrostatically driven for ease of operation and superb maneuverability. Wide tires give the installer excellent flotation in newly prepped areas. In addition, its low center of gravity and walk-behind design make it ideal for sod installation on banks and slopes up to 30 degrees.
